Jijamata Welfare Foundation

We run Jijamata Welfare Foundation from a flat in Chunchale, Nashik. The address is Flat CH/B-3/107, and we are situated at Sr. No. 75-A. It’s a quiet enough area, which is good for getting things done. We aren't some huge group with a big budget. It’s just us, working out of this flat to try and make things a bit better for people around here. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a lot of staff in uniforms. Most of the time, it’s just a couple of us handling phone calls and trying to organize our next project. We started this because we saw a lot of folks struggling and thought we could lend a hand. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run into problems we didn’t expect. We don’t use any corporate jargon or make big, empty claims. We just try to be honest about what we can do and what we can’t. Every day is a bit different. Some days we are very busy with people coming in, and other days we are just catching up on tasks. Chunchale is our home, so we care about what happens here. We’ve made some mistakes along the way, but we learn as we go. We aren’t experts, just local residents who want to be useful. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way because it keeps us close to the work. We just hope to keep helping out for a long time.
