Our shop is at number 3 in the Nagesh Co Op Housing Society. We are right on LBS Marg, which as everyone knows, is one of the busiest roads around here. Being right opposite Aradhana Talkies means there is always something going on outside our door, whether it's people going to movies or just traffic. Jayshri Nityanand Motor Accessories is a small space but we try to keep it stocked with everything a car owner might need. We have seat covers hanging up and boxes of lights and wipers stacked in the corners. It is a bit of a jumble sometimes, but I usually know exactly where everything is located. People stop in while they are stuck in traffic or after they’ve been to the cinema. I’ve spent many years here talking to drivers about what kind of floor mats are best or helping them pick out a new cover for their steering wheel. It’s not a high-end boutique; it’s just a local shop for car stuff. The air outside is always full of exhaust fumes from the LBS Marg traffic, so we keep the door partially closed. It can get pretty hot inside during the summer months. I enjoy the rhythm of the shop and meeting the regular customers who have been coming to us for years. It’s just a steady, simple business and we do our best to help people find what they want.
