Jay Vigyan Foundation

You can find Jay Vigyan Foundation over in Thane West. We are in the Shree Thane Darshan building, room A/504. Most people just call the area Tekdi Banglow. It’s a busy spot in Thane, and there is always something happening on the street below. We are a small group of people who really like science and technology. We think it’s important for everyone to understand how things work, even if they aren't scientists. Our office is pretty small and filled with papers and old gadgets we’ve collected. It’s not a shiny new lab. It’s just a place where we sit and talk about ideas. We spend a lot of our time working with local schools or just showing kids some cool experiments. Thane is a great place to be because there are so many people around. We’ve been in this building for quite a while, so we know the neighbors well. Sometimes the elevator in the building is out of order, so we have to walk up, which is good exercise I guess. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who are passionate about learning. It’s a very casual environment here. If you ever want to see what we're up to, you can just stop by A/504. We usually have some interesting project sitting on the table and we're always happy to show people what we are messing with.
