Jakhadd Foundation

We are over here at Flat 101 in Ganesh Residency. New Anand Nagar is where we spend most of our days. It's a pretty quiet spot for the most part. If you know the area, you know there’s always something going on with the neighbors or just the general buzz of the street outside. Our door is usually open if we are in. We started this thing called Jakhadd Foundation because we saw some stuff that needed doing nearby. It isn't a massive operation with fancy desks and coffee machines. Mostly, we just sit around the table in the main room and figure out what needs to happen next. Sometimes the power goes out in the building, but we just keep at it. Ganesh Residency has been around a while and everyone knows everyone. We try to keep things simple. We don't have a big team or anything like that. Just a few of us trying to make sense of the work we have in front of us. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and talk about the neighborhood. Other days are busy and we are running around. If you walk past the building, you might see us. We’ve been at this for a bit now and it feels right being in this part of town. There isn't much to say other than we are just here working. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just a few posters on the wall and some old files stacked in the corner.
