Ismap Foundation

Our office for Ismap Foundation is located at 203 in the Simran Elegance building. It’s on Tondon Road, right in the Ram Nagar area of Dombivli East. If you’ve ever lived or worked in Dombivli, you know the vibe is very specific. It’s busy, crowded, and there’s a constant sense of movement everywhere you look. The building itself is one of those typical constructions you see around here, and being in Office 203 means we’re just high enough to be away from the direct street dust but close enough to hear every rickshaw that passes by. The walk from the station isn't too bad, but in the heat, it can be a bit much. We spend most of our time inside where it’s a bit cooler, though the office isn't anything special to look at. Just a few chairs, some cupboards for all the files we seem to accumulate, and the usual office equipment. The walls are a bit plain, and we probably should have put more stuff up, but we just haven't gotten around to it yet. People come and go throughout the day, and we try to keep things moving. Tondon Road has its busy hours where everything seems to happen at once, but then it settles down into a regular rhythm. It’s just a functional space in a very busy part of the suburbs where we show up and do what needs doing.
