Ingersoll Rand International India is over in Nallasopara West, which is in the Thane district. We’re in the Olive Apartments, part of the Sri Prastha Complex. It’s a busy neighborhood, very crowded and full of life. Our office is A-002, so we’re right on the ground level. Nallasopara is a hectic place to work out of, especially with the trains and the local traffic, but we make it work. We handle a lot of the international side of things, but we do it from a very local setting. It’s not a glass tower in a fancy business park. It’s just a regular apartment converted into a workspace. We’ve got computers and files everywhere. Most of the time it’s just the sound of typing and people talking on their mobiles. We don’t try to act like we’re more important than we are. We just handle the logistics and the international coordination. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the customs and the shipping schedules. Sometimes the internet goes down or the power cuts out, but we just wait it out and get back to work. The pin code here is 401203. We’ve been part of this complex for a while.
