We are located at A 03 Sai Satnam, in Sector 25 of Nerul West. Navi Mumbai is a bit more spread out than the main city, which we like. Our office is in Plot No 19, and it’s a pretty standard spot for a construction firm to set up shop. We have some neighbors who are residents and others who run small businesses, so it’s a good mix of people. The office itself is usually a bit of a disaster area with samples of bricks or tiles sitting in the corners. We aren't very good at keeping the place looking like a showroom. We are too busy dealing with site managers and trying to keep the schedules from slipping. It’s a lot of practical work, nothing like what you see in the movies. We deal with the monsoon rains every year, which always makes the construction work a bit more complicated. Most of us take the train or drive through the palm-lined roads to get here. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a calendar with a lot of deadlines circled in red. It is a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the accounts. It’s just how a local business runs when you’re focused on getting the actual building done.
