Hindugarjana Pratishthan Youth Association

We started the Hindugarjana Pratishthan Youth Association because a few of us in the APMC Colony area wanted to do something useful with our time. Being right here near Ambil Odha in Pune, things are usually pretty loud and busy with all the market stuff going on every day. Our group isn't anything fancy, just a bunch of guys who grew up in these streets and decided we should have a formal way to help out our neighbors. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually end up meeting later in the evening to talk about what needs doing. We don't have a big office or anything like that. We mostly just gather at the address here at 7/297/298 and figure things out as we go along. It isn’t always organized perfectly, but we try to stay active. Sometimes we help with local festivals or just look out for the older folks living around the colony. Living in Pune 411030, you get used to the pace of things. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just making sure things are okay right here in our own backyard. It’s been a couple of years now and we’re still just learning how to run things properly. Most people around here know who we are because we’ve lived here our whole lives. We just wanted to make it official so we could get more done together.
