Our specific spot is Qtr No. D-2 in the Staff Colony. Living in a staff colony means work and home are almost the same place. You walk out of your door and the plant is right there. The Thane-Belapur Road is always humming with traffic, trucks, and commuters, so it never really gets quiet. It’s a 400605 area, and anyone who lives here knows the smell of the industrial air and the sound of the trains nearby. Our setup in D-2 is simple. It’s where we handle the local affairs and keep things ticking. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a functional space for the people who actually run the site. We see the same people at the gate every morning. There’s a certain routine to life in Kalwa. You deal with the monsoon rains flooding the roads and the humidity that never seems to leave.
