Our office is tucked away in the C Wing of Sai Angan on Ramdev Road. If you know where S.V.P School is near the Mira-Bhayendra Road, we are just a short walk from there. This part of Mira Road East is always humming with activity. Hapag-Lloyd Global Services has been set up here for a bit now. It’s a standard setup with a lot of computers and people on phones. We deal with global logistics stuff, which means there is always a lot of data to look at. The commute into this part of Mumbai can be a bit of a headache for the staff, but we make it work. We aren't really a front-facing shop where people walk in off the street, it’s more about the back-end work that keeps things moving across the ocean. The building itself is pretty easy to find once you get on the right road. We share the space with other businesses and families in the area. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we end up waiting around a bit. It’s just a group of regular people working together to manage shipping schedules and paperwork. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. We just focus on the screens and making sure the numbers match up. It's steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until late afternoon. Sometimes we stay later if a ship is delayed.
