Guru Industrial Valves is located at Guru House, W-101(D) in the TTC MIDC area. We are right in Khairane Village, along the Thane Belapur Road. It’s a very industrial part of the world. There are trucks moving around all day and the sound of metal hitting metal from the neighbors. Our building is mostly a warehouse and a small office space. We have heavy valves sitting on pallets everywhere you look. It’s not the cleanest place, but you can’t really keep an industrial site spotless. We wear boots because the floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter. We spend a lot of time checking specifications and moving things with the pallet jack. The office is just a corner with a few desks and a lot of technical manuals. We get a lot of grease on our hands during the day. It’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with this kind of hardware. The tea break is the best part of the afternoon when we all sit on the benches outside for ten minutes. We’ve been in this MIDC zone for a long time, so we know how the traffic on Belapur Road works. It’s a straightforward job, nothing fancy about it. We just make sure the valves are sorted and ready for whenever they need to go out to the clients.
