We run Grease Monkey Online Services from a flat in Thane. Specifically, we are in 21C, which is in the Angel wing of the Cosmos Spring society. It’s located right near G.B. Road, which anyone in Thane knows is the main artery for everything here. Being near the Vaibhav Hotel is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. The office is really just a converted apartment, so it has a kitchen and a balcony, which is where we usually take our breaks. It feels much more comfortable than a stiff office building. Since we are on G.B. Road, we see the constant stream of trucks and cars going past, but being up in the flat keeps the noise at a manageable level. We have our computers set up in what would normally be the living room. It’s a small team, so we don't need a lot of room. Most of our day is spent online, so as long as the internet is working well, we are happy. Sometimes the building maintenance happens or there’s a bit of noise from the other residents, but that’s just part of being in a big society like Cosmos Spring. We like that we can grab a quick meal at the hotel nearby or just walk down for a snack. It’s a practical way to work without all the stress of a corporate environment. We just keep things moving and stay busy.
