Gravity Diecasting Industries

Our shop, Gravity Diecasting Industries, sits in Jaywant Estate over in Kalyan West. You can find us right across from Roshan Auto on Murbad Road. It’s a convenient location for us because the trucks can get in and out fairly easy, though traffic on Murbad Road can be a real headache in the afternoons. Inside the shed, it’s mostly just rows of machines and bins filled with metal parts. We’ve been at this location for some time. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and heat, but that’s typical for a diecasting setup. We work with aluminum and other alloys, melting things down and getting them into the shapes people need. There isn't much to look at in terms of decor. We have a few desks tucked in the corner where the paperwork gets handled, but most of the action happens by the die units. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a leak or a stuck part. It’s hard work and the guys are usually covered in some kind of grease by lunchtime. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big ads. Most folks around Kalyan West know we are here if they need something casted. We just focus on getting the orders out the door and keeping the equipment running for another day. It’s a living and we’re used to the noise by now.
