Gogo Foundation

We are based over in Navi Mumbai, specifically in Sector 14 at Mahesh Apt. The Gogo Foundation office is on the ground floor, in Flat G-1, Plot 94J. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to deal with the lifts, and people can just walk right in from the street. Sector 14 is a busy part of the city, but our little corner is relatively calm. The apartment itself is an older building, so it has that solid, lived-in feel to it. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and some filing cabinets. We aren't big on decorating, so the walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a few notes pinned up. Navi Mumbai has its own rhythm, and we’ve settled into it nicely over the years. The weather gets quite humid, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. We do a lot of our work locally, so being in Thane district helps with the travel. There’s a small park nearby where some of us go for a walk during the break. It is a simple operation we have here. We don't have fancy coffee machines or anything, just a kettle and some tea bags. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head home. Sometimes the street lights outside flicker, but the neighborhood is safe and familiar to us all.
