Mira Road is always moving and shaking, and we are tucked away in the Pearl building of the Sanghvi Complex. Our office is B/702, and it is a lively spot to work from in Thane. Being right near the Ganga Complex in Naya Nagar means there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a few weeks. This is the local hub for Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd in this district. We handle the manufacturing details and the administrative side of things. It is not a huge factory floor here, just our small team managing the logistics. The space is filled with the sound of typing and the occasional groan from our printer that likes to jam at the worst times. We keep things simple with basic furniture and a small kitchen area for lunch breaks. The view from the seventh floor is actually quite alright when the sun starts to go down. We do not use big words or have fancy meetings. We just look at what needs to be shipped or tracked and we get to it. Sometimes the building elevator is slow, so we end up taking the stairs if we are in a rush. It is a real, working office where we deal with the daily grind of the supply chain. We are just local people trying to make sure everything runs as it should for the company.
