Being on the third floor means we get plenty of exercise because the lift is quite small and often busy with other people. The office is just a basic room where we handle our daily business. It’s a bit of a climb, but the view of the street from up here is okay. Kalyan is a very busy place, especially with the trains nearby, so there is always a background hum of the city. We have some metal cupboards for our files and a few chairs that have seen better days. It’s not the kind of place with a big logo on the wall or expensive carpet. We just have the essentials. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the door open for some air. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through files. We don't really have a lot of visitors, so it stays pretty quiet inside despite the noise outside. We usually bring our own tiffin for lunch and eat together at the main table. It’s a humble setup, but we manage everything just fine from this little room in Kalyan. We’ve been here for a while and the routine suits us perfectly.
