Gharda Chemicals Ltd.

Gharda Chemicals Ltd. is located at B-27 / 29 in the MIDC area of Dombivli East. Being in a chemical zone means there are a lot of rules and safety things we have to follow every day. You’ll usually see us wearing our safety gear, like boots and sometimes masks, depending on what part of the plant we are in. The air in Dombivli MIDC has that distinct industrial smell that you get used to after a while. Our facility is a mix of big storage tanks, pipes, and the lab where the actual testing happens. It’s not a pretty place with gardens or anything, just a lot of functional steel and concrete. We work in shifts, so there is always someone around, even late at night or early in the morning. The office part is just a few rooms with basic desks where we keep the logs and chemical reports. It’s a lot of technical work and we have to be very careful with everything we handle. Sometimes the equipment needs maintenance, so you’ll see guys with wrenches and tools working on the pumps. We don't really do much in terms of promotion or fancy talk. We just focus on the chemical processes and making sure the batches are right. The roads inside the MIDC can be a bit rough with all the heavy trucks passing through, but it’s just part of working in this sector. It is a serious environment but we have a good group of people.
