Geti Crafts & Arts is based in Unit 104 of the Ajit Industrial Complex. This is over in Mira Road East. It’s an industrial estate, which means lots of small units and the smell of grease. People are always moving crates around. We’ve been in this complex for a good while now. Our unit isn’t very big, but everything we need fits inside. Mira Road has grown so much lately, but this little corner of the industrial complex stays the same. Starting early helps when it’s still a bit cool. Geti Crafts & Arts is just a small team of us. We spend our time making things and packing them up for shipping. Stained walls and an old floor show the years of work in 104, but it’s a good workspace. We don’t have an air conditioner, only a couple of big ceiling fans that hum all day. It gets quite loud in the complex with all the other businesses running machines. Usually, we have lunch together on one of the workbenches. It’s not a glamorous job, but the routine is good. Finding Ajit Industrial Complex is easy if you follow the main road. Once you're inside, we are just one of the many doors. We don't bother with fancy brochures or marketing. Focusing on what’s right in front of us is enough. There is an old clock on the wall here. It needs a new battery soon.
