Working at Wagale Estate in Thane means you’re always in the middle of the hustle. Our office is located in the Ayodhya Complex on Road Number 21, right in the Kisan Nagar area. The name on the door is a long one, covering Ge Countrywide, Kotak Mahindra, and others, but inside it’s just us trying to keep the accounts and paperwork straight. The building is usually full of people coming and going because of all the different businesses around here. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the estate, but we’ve got used to it over the years. We have rows of desks and filing cabinets that are packed to the brim. It’s not the most modern-looking place, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people about their banking and auto finance needs. There isn't much in the way of decoration, maybe a few old plants and a calendar from last year that nobody bothered to take down. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee, which is usually where we catch up on things. Kisan Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and being on the second floor of 1/112 gives us a decent view of the street. It’s just a regular office day, filled with the usual tasks and the occasional problem to solve. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just do the work and keep the files moving. Sometimes we have to share the elevator with people carrying boxes or delivery guys who are in a rush.
