Fulgaddikar Furnaces

Fulgaddikar Furnaces is tucked away at Rh-45/6 in the Yashodatta Chs. Midc area. We are right near Model College in Dombivli (E), so there are always students walking around the main road. Our workshop is small and focused. We build industrial furnaces, so there is always a lot of welding and bricklaying going on. It is a hot job, especially when we are testing the heating elements. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many tools and metal frames lying around. It’s a family-run kind of feel where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans. We just sit at the old wooden desk and figure out the technical specs for the next job. The floor is made of rough concrete and there are scorch marks here and there from the torches. In the MIDC area, it’s all about the work, and our shop is no different. We spend a lot of time grinding metal and making sure the frames are square. It is noisy and sometimes the air gets a bit smoky, but we just open the big front shutters to let the breeze in. It is a simple, hardworking place where the focus is on getting the furnace built right. We have been part of this neighborhood for years and know all the local tea stalls.
