We are located at Flat No. 204 in the B-wing of Shree Govind Darshan Apartments. Our office is in the Vadwali area of Ambernath, which is part of the Thane district. Since we are in an apartment building, the office has a very local, home-like feel to it. We’ve been operating this Nidhi company from here for some time now. It’s not a polished corporate office with a lobby. Instead, you just come up to the second floor and find us at our desks. We spend our days handling savings accounts and talking to the people from the building and the surrounding streets. Ambernath is a busy town, but our corner of it is relatively calm. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who manage the paperwork and the accounts. We use simple computers and keep a lot of physical records in big binders. We don't use any of those complicated business terms that nobody understands. We just talk to our members like they are our neighbors, because most of them are. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to walk up, but it’s not a big deal. We focus on the work we have to do and try to keep everything as simple as possible for everyone who visits us in this part of Thane.
