Our place is on the ground floor, Room No 113, right on Umc Road. If you know where the swimming pool is in Ulhasnagar No 3, you’ve basically found us. We’re directly opposite that. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows the landmark. We do a lot of interior and design work here. It’s usually pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the projects. Being a private limited company sounds formal, but we’re really just a group of people working out of a small office in Thane. We don’t have a big fancy reception. Usually, there are blueprints or fabric swatches lying around on the desks. We spend a lot of time talking to local suppliers and making sure things are moving along. Ulhasnagar is a tight-knit place. You run into the same people at the tea stall or near the pool. We’ve been here for a bit, just handling the daily grind of design. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes it’s just a lot of phone calls and checking measurements. We like the pace here though. It feels real. We aren't trying to be some high-end studio from South Mumbai. We’re just local designers doing our bit on Umc Road. It’s a decent life and we get to see some nice transformations in the neighborhood homes. We try to be helpful and honest about what can fit in a room. That is just how we work.
