Food Market is over in Jogeshwari West, right at No.423, Hill Park Garden. If you know the SBI ATM in Shastri Nagar, we are right near that. It’s a handy spot because people are always stopping by the bank anyway. We keep the place open for the locals who live around Hill Park Garden. It’s a bit of a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. Dealing with food means there is always something to clean or stock. We try to keep up with what the neighbors want. Sometimes we run out of things, and sometimes we have too much, but that’s just how a small market goes. I spend most of my day behind the counter or checking the shelves. It’s not glamorous work, but it keeps the neighborhood fed. The traffic on the street can get bad in the evenings, so that’s usually our busiest time. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s nice to have that connection with the people in Shastri Nagar. We don't do any big promotions or anything. We just put the sign out and open the doors every morning. My cousin helps me out sometimes when I need a break. It’s just us doing our thing at No.423.
