Expeditors International

Vartaknagar in Thane is where we’ve set up shop. Specifically, we’re at 23/285 inside Prasad Society. It’s a bit different being in a residential society area. It feels a bit more like a community than a cold business district. Our office for Expeditors International is a place where we get things done without much fuss. We have a few rooms filled with desks and cabinets. You’ll see people typing away or talking on the phone most of the day. We try to keep things organized, but there’s always a pile of folders somewhere. The parking can be a bit tricky around here, so we’ve learned the best spots to leave our scooters. During lunch, we usually walk over to the local market area. It’s a decent place to work. We don't have a lot of corporate rules about what to wear or how to talk. We just want to make sure the logistics are handled properly. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit and chat for a bit until it comes back on. It’s that kind of place. We handle a lot of different requests every week. Every day feels a bit different depending on what’s moving. We aren't a big flashy company. We’re just a team in Thane trying to do our jobs well and get home to our families. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time.
