We’re located in Flat No. A/406 at Yash Paradise, which is in Sector 8A of Airoli, Navi Mumbai. It’s a residential complex, so it feels a lot more like a home than a corporate office. Airoli is a busy place these days, with a lot of people commuting in and out for work. Being in a flat means we have a kitchen and a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere than a typical commercial building. We handle the coal side of things from here. It’s mostly phone calls and paperwork, tracking shipments and talking to people at the ports or the mines. The view from the window is just other buildings and the streets of Sector 8A. We get the usual sounds of a housing society—kids playing in the evenings and people coming home from work. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the files we have to keep, but we make it work. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the business well. There’s no dress code or fancy meetings. We just sit down with our tea, look at the screens, and get the orders sorted. It’s a practical setup that keeps our overheads low. Most people wouldn't even know there's a coal business running out of an apartment here. It’s just how we decided to set things up to keep life simple and focused on the work.
