Essar Construction (India) Limited

Our workspace for Essar Construction (India) Limited is located on Tagorelane in Mithakumbharwada, over in Dahanu. It is a coastal town, so you can sometimes smell the salt in the air when the breeze is right. The office is a simple setup near the local market area. We have been here for a while, and the place has a lived-in feel to it. There are stains on the floor from where we moved the heavy cabinets and some old posters on the walls. We don't have a lot of visitors, so we keep things pretty informal. Most of our day is spent talking to vendors or checking on the progress of the work in the Taluka. Dahanu is a small place, so we bump into our colleagues even when we are off the clock. The office gets a bit humid in the summer, and we usually keep the windows open to let the air in. There is always a stack of newspapers on the side table and some half-empty boxes of supplies in the corner. It is a practical office for people who are more comfortable on a construction site than in a boardroom. We don't have any shiny furniture, just the basics that we need to get through the day's work. It is an honest place where we focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized.
