Eduvertex

Eduvertex is on the second floor of the Kanchan Ganga Building at Shivaji Tak in Thane West. It is right opposite the Punjab National Bank, which is a big help when people are trying to give directions to their friends. Thane is always a bit crowded, and this area near the bank is no different. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when two people are trying to pass each other on the way up. Inside, we have a basic setup with some benches and tables. It’s a bit of an older building, so the walls have that lived-in feel to them. We hear the traffic from the road all day long, especially the horns from the buses and rickshaws near the signal. It’s just part of being in Thane West. We keep a water cooler in the corner for anyone who comes in feeling thirsty from the walk. Most of our day is spent at the desks, looking over papers or talking to people who drop by after work or school. We don't have any big flashy signs inside, just some simple stuff on the door so people know they’ve reached the right place. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always something happening downstairs on the street, but once you’re up here, it’s just a regular workplace where we get on with our things.
