We set things up here at Sai Villa - 3, right in Flat 501. It's a quiet spot in Nagpur where we get most of our work done. The Dr.Hemant Shyam Sonare Empowerment Foundation started because there seemed to be a lot of gaps in how people were getting help around here. We aren't a big office with fancy desks. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table trying to figure out the best way to help the community. Being based in Maharashtra means we see a lot of different needs every day. Sometimes it feels like there is too much to do, but we just take it one day at a time. Neighbors often drop by or call us when they hear about what we are doing. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a few people who wanted to make sure things get better for folks nearby. We handle the paperwork and the planning right from this apartment. It gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. Living and working in the 440037 area code keeps us close to the people we want to reach. You might see us out and about in Nagpur quite a bit. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just want to use what we have to help others in the city. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how real work goes. We're just regular people trying to do something good.
