We are located over here at 16A/42 in Vrindavan Society. It is a busy part of Majiwade in Thane West. Most of us get here pretty early before the traffic really picks up on the main roads. Dow Chemical International has been in this spot for a bit now. Inside the office, things are usually quiet but there is always someone on the phone or typing away at a desk. It is not a huge fancy skyscraper, just a regular place where we get the work done. People often ask where we are exactly and we just tell them to look for the society gate near the junction. The weather in Thane gets quite humid, so the air conditioning is usually running full blast all day. We deal with a lot of international paperwork and coordinate with different teams. It is a lot of spreadsheets and emails. Sometimes we go out for tea at the local stalls nearby during the afternoon break. Being in a residential society makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a big corporate park. There are families living nearby and kids playing in the evenings when we are heading home. We just focus on our chemical business and make sure things move along as they should. It is a steady job in a decent part of town. We have grown used to the sounds of the neighborhood over the years. That is pretty much how it is for us day in and day out at our Thane office.
