Our place is down in the basement at 3 Bakery Laneat, right by the City Courier spot in Kopri. Being in Thane East means we deal with a lot of traffic, but the basement stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes and papers piled up, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking things for people who come in. It’s a busy little corner of the neighborhood. The walk down the stairs is a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been operating out of this basement for a good bit now. Most of the people around here know us by name. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. We have a couple of desks that have seen better days and a kettle that’s always on. Dealing with courier stuff and whatever else comes through Domex keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the rain gets a bit close to the entrance during the monsoon, but we’ve managed to stay dry so far. We don't really do much advertising; people just find us because we’re right there in the thick of it. It’s a simple operation with just a handful of us working together. We try to be helpful when someone walks in with a problem. It's just honest work in a small space.
