Doers Sangathan Foundation

We’ve been here in Vashi for a bit now, specifically at Jn 3 - 12 / 12 in Sector 9. It is a pretty busy spot most days of the week. The name Doers Sangathan Foundation basically sums up how we work, which is just getting things handled whenever they need handling. People come by the office and we talk about what needs doing around the neighborhood. It is not a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular space where we sit down and look at our lists of tasks. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of noise but we don’t really mind it. The tea guy around the corner knows us well because we are always there. We do not really have a big speech ready about what we do. It is mostly just day-to-day stuff. You might see us walking around the sector or just sitting at the desk. We started this because there was too much talk and not enough work happening. So here we are. It has been a learning curve for all of us. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that is just how it goes. We try to keep things simple and avoid the complicated stuff. Vashi is a good place to be based. The connectivity is alright. If you are ever near Sector 9, you will probably see our sign. It isn’t very big but it is there. We have some long days here, especially when the weather is hot, but we just keep at it.
