Dhyeya Upliftment Foundation

If you head down College Road, you’ll find us in the B-Square Apartments. We are up on the fourth floor, Office 405. It’s a decent building in the Yeolekar Mala area. Dhyeya Upliftment Foundation is basically a small group of us working out of this space. It’s not a huge office, just enough room for a few desks and some files. We moved in here because it’s central and easy for people to find once they get onto SR No 726/1C. College Road always has something going on, which keeps things interesting for us. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and the people who come in asking for help. It’s practical work. Sometimes the elevator in the apartment block is a bit slow, so we end up waiting around, but that’s just how it goes. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. It’s more about sitting down and figuring out what needs to happen next. We’ve got a view of the street from the window, and you can see the local traffic moving along. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood here. We do our best to stay organized, even when things get a bit messy with all the different projects. It’s just us, working away in our little corner of the building, trying to make things a bit better for everyone who reaches out to us. We often have our lunch together right at our desks because there’s always something to finish. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, so we just make do with whatever is available.
