Dhyas Communal Development Foundation

We've been around for a while here in Ulhasnagar, right over near the Lal Chakki area. Most people know the Hanuman Mandir, and we're just across from that. Our spot is on Survey No 23 L3. It’s a busy part of town but we like it. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get things done and talk to folks from the neighborhood. Some days are quieter than others, but there's always something to sort out or someone dropping by. We started Dhyas Communal Development Foundation because there was work that needed doing in the community. It’s just a few of us trying to help out where we can. Living and working in Thane has its own rhythm, you know? The roads get crowded and the weather gets hot, but we stay busy. People often get lost finding the L3 building, so we just tell them to look for the temple. It’s easier that way. We don't have a big team or a lot of flash, just some desks and some paperwork. We deal with the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a foundation. If you’re walking past the old Hanuman temple in Ulhas-4, that’s where you’ll find us. It’s a plain place, but it works for what we do. We try to keep things simple and honest here. Sometimes the printer jams or the tea runs out, but we keep moving forward with whatever the day brings. Most of our furniture is second-hand, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We’re just regular people.
