Our spot is in Room No 63 over in K.L. Colony. It is located in Gandhi Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of the area if you compare it to the main roads. Being in Tamil Nadu, the weather is usually quite warm, so we keep the windows open when there is a breeze. This is where Dhl Express (I) Pvt Ltd operates from. The office is small and tucked away. Most people in the colony know us because we have been here for a while. It is not a corporate glass building or anything like that. It is just a simple room with some chairs and a few desks. Sometimes the neighbor's kids are playing outside and you can hear them laughing while we work. We handle the shipping forms and talk to the drivers who come by. It gets a bit messy with all the boxes sometimes. We don't really worry about having everything look perfect as long as the work is moving along. The floor is a bit old and it creaks when you walk near the corner. We have a small calendar on the wall that we mark off every day. It feels like home because we spend so much time here. The tea here is okay, usually we bring it from the house or get it from the corner shop. It is a very basic setup but it works for what we need to do every day without any fuss.
