Dhammasiri Foundation

Our office is situated in Badlapur, inside the Radheya Apartment complex. We’re in the C Wing, specifically Flat Number 10. Badlapur is a bit of a trek for some people, but it’s where we’ve set up the Dhammasiri Foundation. The building is a typical apartment block, so it feels very much like a home. We’ve turned one of the rooms into a workspace with a couple of old desks and some chairs we’ve collected over time. It’s not a polished environment by any means. There are often stacks of papers on the table if we run out of room. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the day-to-day things. The area around Ambarnath is growing fast, but our little corner remains relatively quiet. Most of the time, we’re just busy with administrative work or talking to locals who stop by for help. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person to tell our story. We just focus on what needs to be done each morning when we get in. Sometimes the doorbell doesn't work right, so people just call our cell phones when they're downstairs at the gate. It’s a bit informal, but it works for us. We like the fact that we're in a residential area because it keeps us connected to the neighborhood. It's just simple work with real people.
