Deepa Chemicals

We are based at W-20 in the MIDC area of Pawane, right along the Thane-Belapur Road. It's a heavy industrial zone, so there are always trucks and tankers moving around. We deal with various chemicals, mostly storing them in barrels and containers. The air always has a bit of a sharp smell to it, which is expected in this line of work. Our warehouse is quite large, and we spend a lot of time moving things around with the forklift. It gets very hot during the summer months, especially inside the metal building. We have to be careful with how we handle everything, so we spend a lot of time checking labels and seals. It’s not a job for everyone, but we’ve been doing it for years. Most of our customers are other factories in the MIDC who need supplies for their own processes. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It's mostly just the warehouse and a small desk where we keep our logs. We don't go in for any marketing talk; we just provide what people order. The traffic on the Thane-Belapur Road can be a nightmare in the evening, so we try to get our loading done early in the day. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We just stay focused on the chemicals and the deliveries.
