D Photographer'S

We’ve been doing photography for a while now here at Mira Road. D Photographer'S is tucked away in Sai Enclave 2, right near SR Hospital if you know the area. It’s a busy spot around Pleasant Park. Most days start with checking the cameras and making sure the batteries are charged up. It’s just a small team of us. We spend a lot of time editing at our desks in room 403. Sometimes the light in the studio is just right, and other times we have to fiddle with the settings for ages. We do a bit of everything, from portraits to local events nearby. It’s not always glamorous work, honestly. There's a lot of sitting around waiting for the right moment or dealing with files that won't upload properly. People usually find us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. We like it that way. No big signs or fancy lobby here. Just a place where we take pictures and try to get the colors to look decent on screen. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, and that's usually the biggest crisis of the week. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our window on the fourth floor. It’s home for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. If you're walking past the hospital, you're pretty close to where we set up shop. It's nothing too fancy, just a workspace filled with tripods and old lenses we can't bring ourselves to throw away.
