Cookie Man

Cookie Man is a little shop found at Kandivali East 101. We spend most of our time baking. You can usually smell the butter and sugar from a few doors down. It’s a small space, filled mostly with ovens and cooling racks. We don’t have a big lounge or anything. People just come in, pick out what they want from the glass jars, and head out. We make different kinds of cookies every day. Some are crunchy and others are a bit softer. Kandivali East is a busy residential area, so we get a lot of parents stopping by with their children after school. We try to keep things simple. We don't use fancy packaging unless someone asks for a gift box. Usually, it’s just a paper bag. The floors get a bit floury by noon, so we’re always sweeping. It's a lot of manual work, mixing dough and watching the timers. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know the delivery drivers well. They're always in a hurry. We just try to get the batches out on time so they’re still warm. It isn't a high-end boutique, just a place that sells cookies. If you walk past the 101 area, you’ll probably find us by the smell. We’re just here doing our thing and hoping the ovens stay reliable. It’s a quiet life but we like the work we do every day without complaining.
