Colorcake Private Limited

Colorcake Private Limited is located over in Wing B of Banegar Enclave, right on the Mira Bhayender Road. We’re directly opposite the Shyamrao Vitthal Bank, so we’re pretty easy to find if you’re in the Mira Road area. Our days are filled with the smell of vanilla and chocolate, which isn't a bad way to earn a living. We started this because we liked the idea of being part of people’s birthdays and celebrations. It’s a messy job sometimes, with flour ending up on our clothes and icing sugar everywhere, but we don't mind. We’re a small crew, and we mostly just focus on getting the bakes right. The ovens are usually running from early in the morning, making the whole place warm even on rainy days. We don’t go in for fancy titles or corporate meetings. We’d rather spend that time working on a new frosting or making sure the sponge is light enough. There’s a lot of trial and error involved in what we do. Not every cake comes out looking like a masterpiece, but we make sure they all taste like they should. Being in Thane, we get a lot of locals walking by and checking in on what’s coming out of the oven. It feels good to be a part of the neighborhood. We’ve had our share of long nights when there’s a big holiday coming up, but that’s just the life of a baker. It’s a simple business built on eggs, flour, and a lot of patience.
