City Care Foundation

City Care Foundation is based in Thane, specifically in Shivaji Nagar at Wagle Estate. Our office is at 3, Dev Ashish. Wagle Estate is a very well-known area in Thane West because of all the small businesses and offices located here. It is always busy with people and vehicles. Dev Ashish is an older building, and we are tucked away inside on the third floor. We have some basic furniture and a few computers, which is all we really need to do our work. The stairs can be a bit of a climb on hot days, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood has a lot of energy, with shops and small eateries everywhere. We often hear the noise from the street, but it keeps us feeling connected to the city. Thane has changed a lot over the years, and we have seen it grow around us. We aren't a large organization with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us working together in this Shivaji Nagar space. We keep things pretty informal and don't worry too much about corporate appearances. As long as the work gets done and we stay organized, we are happy. Most of the staff lives nearby, so we are very much a local Thane operation. We just grab our morning coffee from the corner shop and get started on whatever the day brings.
