Chip En Chisel Decar

Chip En Chisel Decar is located at B-29 in the Amargain Industrial Complex. We are right on LBS Marg in the Khopat area of Thane West. The name kind of gives away what we do. The floor is almost always covered in sawdust, and there’s usually a faint smell of wood or varnish in the air. It’s a busy complex with trucks coming and going, so there’s always a lot of noise outside our doors. Inside, we have our workbenches and all the tools we’ve gathered over the years. Some of the chisels are getting old, but they still do the trick. We spend our time working on different pieces, mostly stuff people need for their homes or offices. It’s a lot of sanding and measuring. We aren't a big factory; it's a smaller operation where we handle things more directly. Sometimes we lose track of time when we're focused on a particular project. The lighting in the back of the workshop isn't great, but we’ve got lamps where we need them. We share the complex with all sorts of other businesses, from mechanics to printers. It's a hardworking atmosphere. We don't have a fancy catalog or a glossy website. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth or by just walking into the complex. We just keep our heads down and keep the saws running. The work is physical and tiring, but it feels good to see something finished at the end of the day.
