Chemie Floortech

Being an engineer or a contractor means you spend more time on sites than in the office, but you can find us at Chemie Floortech over in Ovalagaon. We are right opposite Abhuda Bank, tucked behind Karan Marble on Ghodbander Road. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the marble shop is. We do a lot of flooring work. It’s messy, loud, and usually pretty hot when we are working. We use various chemicals and stuff to get the floors looking right and lasting a long time. It isn't glamorous work, but someone has to do it. Our office is where we keep the samples and talk about the next project. Sometimes we have a lot of guys here, other times it’s just me and the phone. Ghodbander Road is always packed, which is good for business but a headache for getting the trucks in. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now. Most people come to us because they saw a floor we did somewhere else. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures. We just show up, do the job, and move to the next one. Dealing with concrete and resins requires some patience. You have to wait for things to dry. If you drop by, don't expect a lounge. It’s a workspace. We just get on with it. It’s hard work, but we like seeing a finished floor when we’re done. It keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday every single week.
