You can find us over at Shop No C on Plot 18 in Sector 20D. We share the space with Chayya Tanaji Indalkar, so that is usually how people find the entrance. It is a typical small business setup where we handle import and export stuff from a desk and a few shelves. The sector can get busy during the middle of the day, but we like the location because it is easy for people to drop by. We started Charubhi Impex as a limited liability partnership because it made sense for the way we wanted to run things. There is no corporate ladder here. We just answer the phone, deal with the customs documents, and keep an eye on our inventory. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of files piled up, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking on where shipments are or calling up suppliers. It is not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve been in this spot for some time now and have gotten to know the neighbors. Dealing with international trade from a small shop has its challenges, but we find our way through the regulations and the shipping delays. It’s just how things go in this line of work every day.
