Caparicorn Logistics Pvt, Ltd is over at 13/141 in the Lig Konkan Vasahat, right across from Birla College in Kalyan, Thane. It’s a busy spot because of the college students and the local market nearby. We spend a lot of time in this office looking at computer screens and talking to vendors. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. Being in Thane, we are right in the middle of all the industrial action, so there is always a truck nearby. The office itself is modest, with a few fans that hum all day long to keep the heat away. We have a small group of people working here who have been together for quite some time. We don't follow any strict corporate scripts when we talk to people, we just tell them how it is. Sometimes a shipment is late because of the monsoon or a block on the highway, and we just have to deal with it. We handle a lot of the local coordination that keeps the bigger wheels turning. It’s the kind of job where you feel every bit of the city's pulse. We drink tea from the stall downstairs and keep our heads down to finish the paperwork. It isn't anything special, just a group of people working hard in a small Thane office. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay organized.
