Biome Innovative Learning Foundation

You can find the Biome Innovative Learning Foundation down in the industrial area of Samarthnagar, which is in Kedgaon. We occupy a few plots there, from 1 to 4/2 at survey number 63/1E/2/1B. It’s a bit of a rugged spot, surrounded by workshops and small factories, so it can get quite noisy during the day with all the machinery running nearby. We don’t mind the grit, though. It feels right being near where things are actually made. Our foundation is all about learning, but we don't run it like a typical school. It’s a much more hands-on, practical environment. The rooms are simple, with basic furniture and plenty of space for whatever projects we are working on at the time. We often have dust coming in from the road, so we are always sweeping up. It’s just a few of us here managing the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the area who want to pick up new skills or improve what they already know. We don’t have any polished marketing materials or a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in old clothes, busy with some task. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but we like the industrial vibe of Kedgaon. It keeps us grounded and reminds us that learning should be something you can actually use in the real world.
