Rani Sati Graphics

Our place is up on the seventh floor of the Girnar Building, which is Flat No 705 in Padmavati Nagar. It's over in Bhayandar, and it gets a decent breeze from the window sometimes if the weather is right. Running Rani Sati Graphics involves a lot of sitting in front of screens and listening to the hum of the printers going all afternoon. It’s not a very big room, so it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of paper stock delivered. Boxes end up stacked near the door and we have to step over them to get to the desk. We do a lot of different types of design work and printing, mostly just whatever people in the area need for their small shops or personal stuff. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for when the machines are running loud. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from feeling too dull. My brother helps out sometimes when things get busy during the festival seasons. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We just like doing the work and seeing how the colors come out on the paper. Sometimes a file doesn't load right or a printer jams, and we spend an hour just trying to fix it. That's just part of the daily routine here in Padmavati Nagar. We stay late most nights just to finish up the last few bits.
