Our office is at Plot No 75 in Sector 16, over in Navi Mumbai. It’s a pretty straightforward spot. We’ve been here for a while now, working out of this space. Navi Mumbai has its own rhythm, a bit different from the main city. A big staff or a fancy lobby isn't something we have. Most of the time, it's just a couple of us sitting around a table trying to figure out the next steps for our projects. The foundation name is a bit of a mouthful, but we just call it the office. Sales pitches aren't something we do here. We just do what we can with what we have. Some days the internet is slow, or we have too much paperwork to get through, but we keep going. Mumbai City 400709 is the pincode if you're looking us up. Slick advertisements or trying to look bigger than we are doesn't interest us. It’s a practical setup for practical people. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which helps when we need to focus. Creating a place where we could help out was the whole point. Things get chaotic and it isn't always pretty, but that’s just how running a small foundation goes. Local people doing local work in Sector 16 is who we are. Sometimes the local shops nearby are the only reason we remember to take a break. We aren't part of some massive network. Our records are mostly kept in physical folders because paper still feels reliable.
