B. B. Electrotechnic

Our unit is G3 in the N.J. Industrial Estate. We are out in Chinchpada, which is part of Gokhivire Village in the Vasai Road East area. It’s a heavy industrial zone, so there are always big trucks moving in and out and the constant sound of machines in the background. We work on various electrotechnic things here. The space is very practical and built for work. It has high ceilings and a grey concrete floor that has definitely seen better days over the years. We have our tools and workbenches set up exactly how we like them. It’s not the kind of place where you would ever see someone wearing a suit and tie. We wear our work clothes and usually have some grease or dust on our hands by noon. The industrial estate itself can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to the layout. Survey No. 265/A is where we are tucked away in a corner. We’ve been operating from here for a good while now. The monsoon rain in Vasai can be really heavy and loud on the tin roof, so we’ve had to patch things up more than once. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy office for meetings. It’s just us and the equipment. We take the orders, assemble what’s needed, and get it shipped out to the customers. Sometimes the people from the neighboring units come by to borrow a tool or ask for help. It’s that kind of helpful community. We focus on the technical side of things and don't worry much about how the office looks. As long as the machines are running and the work is getting done correctly, we are happy. It’s a long commute for some of us, but we really like the atmosphere here.
