Ayodhya Foundation

We are based in Nerul, over at Dara Enclave in Sector 9. It’s a quiet residential complex, and we are in flat C 301. Being in Navi Mumbai is nice because it’s a bit more spaced out than the city center and there are more trees. Ayodhya Foundation is just a small group of us trying to get things organized. We use this flat as our main hub for everything we do. It’s got a good view of Plot No 6 from the balcony window. Most of the time, we’re just sitting around the main table going over plans or answering emails. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We don’t wear suits or have fancy titles to show off. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the society is very quiet, and other times there are kids playing outside in the evening which makes it feel like a real community. We’ve been here for a while now and the neighbors know us by name. We try not to make too much noise or disturb anyone. The foundation keeps us pretty busy, but we always find time for a tea break in the afternoon to chat. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. Just a simple door with our name on it and some people inside working hard. It’s a good spot for us because it’s easy to get to from the station, so nobody has to commute too far. We just do our best with what we have.
