We've been at Unit No 10 for a while now. It's inside Mona Industrial Estate No 2. If you know Sativali, you know it gets pretty busy around here, especially behind Tirupati Udyog Nagar. Most of us get in early to beat the traffic on the highway. The workshop is where we spend most of the day dealing with the pharma machines. It can get a bit loud when everything is running, but that's just how it is. We keep things moving, making sure the parts are sorted and the orders go out on time. Sometimes the rain in Vasai makes it hard to get stuff loaded, but we manage. It’s a practical space. Nothing fancy about the office, just desks and a lot of technical manuals lying around. The tea stall at the corner of the estate is where we usually find ourselves around four o'clock. It’s a good place to catch up with the guys from the other units and talk about nothing in particular. The floor of our unit is often covered in metal shavings or crates waiting to be picked up. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and helps whoever walked in. It feels like a real workshop where things actually get built. The commute from the station can be a pain during the monsoon because the roads around Sativali tend to get waterlogged, but we always make it in.
